2017 Texas Pharmacy Law • Hospital Practice

LawNEW  Course: This course reviews changes made to Texas Pharmacy Rules in 2017, as well as any pharmacy-related legislation passed during the 2017 Texas  Legislative Session. This law course is tailored to the Texas hospital pharamcists.  The activity is presented live annually by Gay Dodson, R.Ph., Executive Director and Secretary of the Texas  State Board of Pharmacy, at The University of Texas at  Austin College of Pharmacy’s Annual Hospital Pharmacy Practice Seminar (HPPS)

We listened to what you wanted!

                            We took this 1 hour video and broke it down into 4 short video portions. Start and come back to it anytime you need or want to.  Each part has a short post test following the video.  The last part, part 4, has the overall  evaultion. Complete all parts                             to recive credit!

 
Texas License CE Law Requirement
This activity meets the Texas Pharmacy Law CE requirement for a pharmacist license in Texas, set forth by the Texas State Board of Pharmacy: 
1 hour of CE related to Texas Pharmacy Laws or Regulations, required forrenewals received after 1/1/15”.
 
NOTE:  If you attended the 2017 Hospital Pharmacy Practice Seminar in Houston Texas on Friday, June 9, 2017, you already have CE credit for this event.  You will not be able to accept duplicate credit by taking this program. 
Pharmacy Technicians:  Pharmacy Technicians can take the Technician version of this course.  The technician version has learning objectives specifically for technicians and has a discounted price.

The University of Texas at Austin College of Pharmacy is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education.  This online activity is approved for 0.1 CEUs (1.00 contact hours) of continuing education credit. In order to receive 1.00 contact hours of CE credit, the participant must watch the videos in their entirety, complete the online post-tests, and complete the online evaluation. Participant must complete all 4 parts of the video, all 3 tests, and the final overall evaluation.
