Texas Pharmacy Law Update

The 2013 Texas Pharmacy Law Update covers recent changes in regards to Texas Pharmacy Law in the past year, including the 2013 Texas Legislative Session, and updates by the Texas State Board of Pharmacy.

The activity is presented live annually by Gay Dodson, R.Ph., Executive Director and Secretary of the Texas State Board of Pharmacy at The University of Texas at Austin College of Pharmacy’s annual Pharmacy Practice Seminar.

This online CPE program includes two separate activities / videos.  Part A (45 min) includes Gay Dodson’s lecture update, which includes copies of the presentation slides and references.  Part B (30 min) includes a series of audience questions and answers from Gay Dodson that is meant to help clarify questions that may derive from the update materials.  The original audience consisted of 540 practicing pharmacists from around Texas.

Parts A and B are considered spate ACPE activities.  Upon completion of each video, the participant will be required to complete post-tests and evaluations for each part in order to receive credit.

Upon completion of the post-test and evaluations for each session, ACPE credits will be automatically routed to the participant’s NABP e-Profile as listed on the registration page.  Please allow up to one full week for credits to populate the NABP e-Profile.
