Keeping it Simple: What You Really Need to Know to Help Your Breast Cancer Patients • Portnoy

 
Summary:
In this activity, Carla Potnoy, R.Ph., defines basic terms that are necessary in conversations about breast cancer with your patients, examines the role genetics play in the treatment of breast cancer, and identifies key counseling points that will help your patients better manage the side effects of cancer treatment.
 
Target Audience:
This course is designed for pharmacists or technicians with any practice background.
 
Program Design:
This course is presented in a lecture format, available via MP4 files, and is accompanied by PDFs of the presenter's PowerPoint slides.  A post-test and program evaluation will be completed after reviewing the content of each presentation.  The post-test and evaluation must be completed BEFORE August 1, 2015.
