The 2015 Texas Pharmacy Law Update reviews changes made to Texas Pharmacy Rules in 2015, as well as any pharmacy-related legislation passed during the 2015 Texas Legislative Session.  The activity is presented live annually by Gay Dodson, R.Ph., Executive Director and Secretary of the Texas State Board of Pharmacy, at The University of Texas at Austin College of Pharmacy’s Annual Pharmacy Practice Seminar. 
 
Texas License CE Law Requirement
 
This activity meets the Texas Pharmacy Law CE requirement for a pharmacist license in Texas, set forth by the Texas State Board of Pharmacy:  “1 hour of CE related to Texas Pharmacy Laws or Regulations, required for renewals received after 1/1/15”.
 
NOTE:  If you attended the 2015 Pharmacy Practice Seminar in Austin Texas on Sunday, September 27, 2015, you already have CE credit for this event.  You will not be able to accept duplicate credit by taking this program.

The University of Texas at Austin College of Pharmacy is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education.  This online activity is approved for 0.150 CEUs (1.50 contact hours) of continuing education credit.  In order to receive 1.50 contact hours of CE credit, the participant must watch the video in their entirety, complete the online post-test, and complete the online evaluation.
