• 2015 Texas Pharmacy Law Update TECHNICIAN • Dodson


The 2015 Texas Pharmacy Law Update for Pharmacy Technicians covers recent changes in regards to Texas Pharmacy Law in the past year, including the 2015 Texas Legislative update, and updates by the Texas State Board of Pharmacy.  The activity is presented live annually by Gay Dodson, R.Ph., Executive Director and Secretary of the Texas State Board of Pharmacy at The University of Texas at Austin College of Pharmacy’s annual Pharmacy Practice Seminar in September 2015. 
 
 
Texas License CE Law Requirement
 
This activity may serve as a Texas licensed pharmacist requirement of “1 hour of CE related to Texas Pharmacy Laws or Regulations for renewals received after 1/1/15”, as recently required by the Texas State Board of Pharmacy.
 
NOTE:  If you attended the 2015 Pharmacy Practice Seminar in Austin Texas on Sunday, September 27, 2015, you already have CE credit for this event.  You will not be able to accept duplicate credit by taking this program.

The University of Texas at Austin College of Pharmacy is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education.  This online activity is approved for 0.150 CEUs (1.50 contact hours) of continuing education credit.  In order to receive 1.50 contact hours of CE credit, the participant must watch the video in their entirety, complete the online post-test, and complete the online evaluation.
