   2016 Texas Pharamcy Law Update:
Hospital Edition for Technicians  
This course reviews changes made to Texas Pharmacy Rules in 2016, as well as any pharmacy-related legislation passed during the 2016 Texas  Legislative Session. This law course is tailored to the Texas hospital technicians.  The activity is presented live annually by Gay Dodson, R.Ph., Executive Director and Secretary of the Texas  State Board of Pharmacy, at The University of Texas at  Austin College of Pharmacy’s Annual Hospital Pharmacy Practice Seminar (HPPS). 
    
    
Texas License CE Law Requirement
This activity meets the Texas Pharmacy Law CE requirement for a pharmacy technician license in Texas, set forth by the Texas State Board of Pharmacy: 
1 hour of CE related to Texas Pharmacy Laws or Regulations, required forrenewals received after 1/1/15”.
 
NOTE:  If you attended the 2016 Hospital Pharmacy Practice Seminar in Houston Texas on Friday, June 3, 2016, you already have CE credit for this event.  You will not be able to accept duplicate credit by taking this program.
