This course reviews up-to-date information regarding opioid overdose trends, prescribing and dispensing of naloxone, how to responde to an acute opioid overdose, review on how to administer naloxone via currently available products and processes, cultural awareness around opioid use and misuse, information on addiction and reasons for use, as well as information on reduction of harm. This course is divided into 5 short 30 minute videos, each with its own documents and post-tests. Each video course serves as a prerequisite to the latter courses, so you are to work through them in order.
