
Activity Description
The University of Texas at Austin College of Pharmacy is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education. This online activity is approved for 0.125 CEUs (1.25 contact hours) of continuing education credit. In order to receive 1.25 contact hours of CE credit, the participant must complete the online pre-test (ungraded), watch the included video in its entirety, pass the online post-test ( > 70% within 5 attempts), and complete the online evaluation. Upon successful completion of the course evaluation, continuing pharmacy education credits will automatically be uploaded to CPE Monitor (allow 7 days).

April Hinds graduated from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences with her doctor of pharmacy in 2013. She completed her PGY1 at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences Northwest in Fayetteville, Arkansas and completed a specialty PGY2 in ambulatory care at the University of Texas College of Pharmacy/CommUnityCare. She works as a clinical ambulatory care pharmacist at CommUnityCare in Austin, Texas and is the residency program director for the PGY2 ambulatory care program at CommUnityCare. She also serves as the ambulatory care regional experiential coordinator for Austin/Temple/Waco at the University of Texas College of Pharmacy.She provides chronic disease state management in collaboration with internal medicine, family medicine, and endocrinology departments at CommUnityCare.
