
Activity Description
The University of Texas at Austin College of Pharmacy is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education. This online activity is approved for 0.10 CEUs (1.00 contact hour) of continuing education credit. In order to receive 1.00 contact hour of CE credit, the participant must complete the online pre-test (ungraded), watch the included video in its entirety, pass the online post-test ( > 70% within 5 attempts), and complete the online evaluation. Upon successful completion of the course evaluation, continuing pharmacy education credits will automatically be uploaded to CPE Monitor (allow 7 days).

Marisa Toups, MD, is a board-certified psychiatrist in UT Health Austin’s Mulva Clinic for the Neurosciences. She specializes in the study of the interplay between physical and mental functions in health and disease. She is an expert in the management of treatment resistant depression and takes a special interest in patients with co-morbid autoimmune and metabolic disorders. Additionally, Dr. Toups is an assistant professor in the DellMedical School Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. Dr. Toups earned her medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine, and she completed a clinical research fellowship at The University of Texas at Southwestern’s Center for Depression and Clinical Care.
