
Activity Description
The University of Texas at Austin College of Pharmacy is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education. This online activity is approved for 0.125 CEUs (1.25 contact hour) of continuing education credit. In order to receive 1.25 contact hour of CE credit, the participant must complete the online pre-test (ungraded), watch the included video in its entirety, pass the online post-test ( > 70% within 5 attempts), and complete the online evaluation. Upon successful completion of the course evaluation, continuing pharmacy education credits will automatically be uploaded to CPE Monitor (allow 7 days).

Kristin Janzen is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Texas at Austin College of Pharmacy. After graduating from UT College of Pharmacy, she completed a combined PGY1 & 2 Pharmacotherapy residency at Butler University and Indiana UniversityHealth in Indianapolis, IN, where she stayed on faculty for a year prior to returning home to UT. She currently practices at Dell Seton Medical Center at the University of Texas in Internal Medicine, where she precepts APPE students and residents on academic internal medicine rotations. Her research and teaching interests focus on core medicine disease states, such as pulmonology, cardiology, diabetes, and interprofessional education.
