The University of Texas at Austin College of Pharmacy is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education. This online activity is approved for 0.100 CEUs (1.00 contact hour) of continuing education credit. In order to receive 1.00 contact hour of CE credit, the participant must complete the online pre-test (ungraded), watch the included video in its entirety, pass the online post-test ( > 70% within 5 attempts), and complete the online evaluation. Upon successful completion of the course evaluation, continuing pharmacy education credits will automatically be uploaded to CPE Monitor (allow 7 days).

About the Faculty
Zhengrong Cui, PhD
Professor of Molecular Pharmaceutics and Drug Delivery
Alfred and Dorothy Mannino Fellow in Pharmacy
Zhengrong Cui is a Professor at The University of Texas at Austin (UT Austin), College of Pharmacy, Division of Molecular Pharmaceutics and Drug Delivery. His research interests lie in pharmaceutical drug and vaccine delivery. He also has extensive experience in freeze drying of biologics and their needle-free delivery. Dr. Cui published extensively in the fields of pharmaceutics, vaccinology, and nanotechnology, including numerous peer-reviewed research papers, review papers, and book chapters. He is a co-inventor on many patents and patent applications. He serves as an editor to International Journal of Pharmaceutics, and as a reviewer for numerous scientific journals as well as national and international funding agencies. Dr. Cui teaches Biopharmaceutics to professional Doctor of Pharmacy students and Advanced Biopharmaceutics to graduate students and is a UT Austin Provost’s Teaching Fellow. Dr. Cui holds a Ph.D. degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Kentucky, College of Pharmacy and completed his postdoctoral training at the University of Pittsburgh, School of Pharmacy. He is a Fellow of the American Association for Pharmaceutical Scientists.
