  • Define different types of human trafficking and explain their local, statewide, and international prevalence.
  • Identify potential signs of human trafficking in victims and survivors who present for care in a medical setting.
  • Determine who should participate in a multi-disciplinary care model for victim identification and recovery.
  • Discover immediate healthcare needs of identified victims.
  • Develop ability for trauma-informed response
  • Learn about available resources for victim service and aftercare.

Continuing Education Credit
The University of Texas at Austin College of Pharmacy is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education. This online activity is approved for 0.15 CEUs (1.50 contact hours) of continuing education credit. To receive 1.50 contact hours of CE credit, the participant must watch the included video in its entirety, pass the online post-test ( >70% within 5 attempts), and complete the online evaluation. Upon successfully completing the course evaluation, the continuing pharmacy education credits will automatically be uploaded to CPE Monitor (allow 3-7 days).
