•2016 PPS Finding a Good Work-Life Balance with a Focus on Precepting • Cox


 
In this video activity, Craig Cox, PharmD. discusses the importance and strategies of maintaining a good work-life balance, identifies effective strategies to enhance ability to precept/guide members of pharmacy teams, and solves challenging preceptor and student scenarios focused on common issues faced in the experiential learning environment.

For Texas Preceptors:  This CPE activitiy counts towards the Texas State Board of Pharmacy Liscensing requirements for Preceptors of "three hours of pharmacist preceptor training provided by an ACPE approved provider within the pharmacist's current license renewal period." (TX Administrative Code Title 22, Part 15, Chapter 283, rule 283.6, Section 3, B, II, ii)
   

Program Design: 
This course is presented in a lecture format, available via MP4 files, and is accompanied by PDFs of the presenter's PowerPoint slides. A post-test and program evaluation will be completed after reviewing the presentation. The post-test and evaluation must be completed BEFORE June 2020.

The University of Texas at Austin College of Pharmacy is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education.  This online activity is approved for 0.125 CEUs (1.25 contact hours) of continuing education credit.  In order to receive 1.25 contact hours of CE credit, the participant must watch both videos in their entirety, complete the online post-tests for each video, and complete the online evaluations for both activities.
