67th Pharmacy Practice Seminar - PPS - 2019


Every September, we invite you to join over 400 pharmacists and pharmacy technicians for our annual CPE seminar. This year’s event will be held at the DoubleTree North Hotel in Austin, Texas on Saturday and Sunday, September 14 and 15, 2019.  The program provides participants with tools and knowledge that can be immediately applied to patient care upon return to practice. The seminar offers up to 15 contact hours of ACPE-accredited pharmacy continuing education.

 
**Pharmacy Technician Discount: This discount is for Pharmacy Tecnicians only. Your fee will be adjusted.Only Pharmacy Technician credets can be awarded with use of this fee. 
***UT Preceptor / Faculty/ Residents / Graduate Student Discount: This discount is valid for currently appointed UT Austin College of Pharmacy preceptors, faculty, residents, and graduate students. ••••• Seminar Registration Refund Policy ••••• A 80% refund will be issued if notification of cancellation is made to College of Pharmacy Continuing Education by August 31, 2019. If payment of registration was made by check, please allow up to 60 days for refund. Refunds will not be made for cancellations received after August 31, 2019; however, substitute registrants will be accepted. ••••• Accreditation ••••• You have only 60 days after completing each session to receive your CE hours. Requests for CE credit after the 60 day window cannot be honored per ACPE rules. Avoid this by ensuring your NABP# and D.O.B. are correct in your profile, complete the post session evaluations, and check you CPE Monitor profile a few days after completing the evaluation to ensure you received the correct number of hours. Sheffield Outstanding Alumnus Award, the Legend of Pharmacy Award, and the Distinguished Young Alumnus Award. The reception will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2019 at The Doubletree. Requirements for CE Credit

The University of Texas at Austin College of Pharmacy is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education.  This two-day activity is approved for 1.5 CEUs (15 contact hours) of continuing education credit.  In order to receive 15 contact hours of CE credit, the participant must attend/participate in all sessions of the program, return their completed Record of Attendance Form at the conclusion of the program, and return to this website to complete the evaluation.
 
MUST COMPLETE CPE EVALUATIONS BY November 8, 2019, OR FORFEIT CPE CREDIT
As of May 1, 2014, ACPE has placed a strict limit of 60 days to complete the CPE requirements for credit for all pharmacy continuing education programs.  
Pharmacists who fail to complete the requirements for credit for this program will forfeit CPE credit for this activity.   Per rule set by ACPE, The University of Texas at Austin College of Pharmacy will not be able to process credit after the 60 day deadline, and will not be able to route credits to the NABP eProfiles.  This includes error caused by incorrect NABP#'s and/or Date of Birth on you profile.
Please ensure your information is correct and up-to-date prior to completing the evaluations.  It is up to the conference attendee to ensure their credits have been received.
