Target Audience

The primary target audience is pharmacists. Topics will be of interest and benefit to all pharmacists regardless of their practice setting. Other health professionals/interested persons are welcome to register for the program as well.

Goals/Learning Objectives

The goal is to present relevant, practical information that is applicable to the daily practice of pharmacy. Program format will include lectures and interactive experiences to include case studies on the mornings of February 4, 5, 8, & 9 from 8 AM to 12 Noon. Through participation in this program, attendees should be able to perform the following tasks for each of the topics that will be addressed: (1) demonstrate an understanding of the "disease state"; (2) discuss drug therapy and; (3) improve patient outcomes through patient counseling, education and drug monitoring.
