Continuing Education Credit
The University of Texas at Austin College of Pharmacy is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education. This online activity is approved for 0.10 CEUs (1.00 contact hour) of continuing education credit. To receive 1.00 contact hour of CE credit, the participant must watch the included video in its entirety, pass the online post-test ( >70% within 5 attempts), and complete the online evaluation. Upon successfully completing the course evaluation, the continuing pharmacy education credits will automatically be uploaded to CPE Monitor (allow 3-7 days).

Jessica Haskins is an experienced pharmacist who has lived in Austin, Texas for 20 years. With a deep passion for healthcare and patient well-being, Jessica has dedicated her career to exploring a variety of areas of pharmacy and patient care. She obtained her Pharm.D. from The University of Louisiana at Monroe, her residency in Community Care through The University of Texas at Austin, and her Six Sigma Black Belt degree through Southern New Hampshire University. Jessica has been in retail pharmacy management, Specialty pharmacy, and pharmacy education for 18 years, and recently as a director in a national telemedicine company. Jessica currently practices retail pharmacy in Austin at Peoples Pharmacy.
 
Outside of professional pursuits, Jessica enjoys cooking and playing drums. She lives in South Austin with her 8-year-old son, and they attend many of the wonderful music events Austin has to offer. She enjoys applying the creative process required in cooking and music to healthcare operations to innovate ways to provide excellent patient care.
