This event is open ONLY to pharmacists who currently serve as, or are currently applying to become, UT Austin College of Pharmacy preceptor-faculty, and UT affiliated PGY1 & PGY2 residents.

Requirements for CE Credit

This event is open ONLY to Pharmacists who currently serve as, or are currently applying to become, UT Austin College of Pharmacy Preceptor-Faculty and UT Affiliated PGY1 & PGY2 Residents.  Attendees who do not meet this discription will not be eligible for CE Credit.

The University of Texas at Austin College of Pharmacy is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education.  This activity is approved for 0.500 CEUs (5.00 contact hours) of continuing education credit.   In order to receive 5.00 contact hours of CE credit, the participant must attend/participate in all sessions of the program (including the new preceptor orientation session), return their completed Record of Attendance Form at the conclusion of the program, and return to this website to complete the online evaluation.

NOTE:  If you are not attending the Preceptor Orientation presentation, then you are only eligible to cliam 4.00 contact hours of CPE.

MUST COMPLETE CPE EVALUATIONS BY October 1, 2019, OR FORFEIT CPE CREDIT
As of May 1, 2014, ACPE has placed a strict limit of 60 days to complete the CPE requirements for credit for all pharmacy continuing education programs.  Pharmacists who fail to complete the requirements for credit for this program will forfit CPE credit for this activity.  Per rule set by ACPE, The University of Texas at Austin College of Pharmacy will not be able to process credit after the 60 day deadline, and will not be able to route credits to the NABP eProfiles.
