Activity Description

This program consists of 1 video and downloadable resources in PDF format.  To begin, take the ungraded pre-test for the module below.  Review the video and handout(s), then complete the post-test ( > 70% within 5 attempts) and evaluation. CPE credit will automatically upload to CPE Monitor (allow 7 days). 
 

Continuing Education Credit
 
The University of Texas at Austin College of Pharmacy is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education.  This online activity is approved for 0.125 CEUs (1.25 contact hour) of continuing education credit. In order to receive 1.25 contact hour of CE credit, the participant must complete the online pre-test (ungraded), watch the included video in its entirety, pass the online post-test ( > 70% within 5 attempts), and complete the online evaluation.  Upon successful completion of the course evaluation, continuing pharmacy education credits will automatically be uploaded to CPE Monitor (allow 7 days). 
Please make sure NABP profile ID and date of birth (month/year) are entered correctly under learner's profile in this system.

About the Faculty

Kristin M. Janzen, PharmD, BCPS

Kristin Janzen is a Clinical Assistant Professor at The University of Texas at Austin College of Pharmacy. After graduating from UT College of Pharmacy, she completed a combined PGY1 & 2 Pharmacotherapy residency at Butler University and Indiana University Health in Indianapolis, IN, where she stayed on faculty for a year prior to returning home to UT. She currently practices at Dell Seton Medical Center at the University of Texas Internal Medicine, where she precepts APPE students and residents on academic internal medicine rotations. Her research and teaching interests focus on core medicine disease states, such as pulmonology, cardiology, diabetes, and interprofessional education.
