Continuing Education Credit
The University of Texas at Austin College of Pharmacy is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education. This online activity is approved for 0.10 CEUs (1.00 contact hour) of continuing education credit. To receive 1.00 contact hour of CE credit, the participant must watch the included video in its entirety, pass the online post-test ( >70% within 5 attempts), and complete the online evaluation. Upon successfully completing the course evaluation, the continuing pharmacy education credits will automatically be uploaded to CPE Monitor (allow 3-7 days).

Elizabeth Hand is a Clinical Pharmacy and Residency Programs Manager at University Health in San Antonio, Texas. She received her PharmD from the University of Texas at Austin College of Pharmacy and following graduation completed a PGY1 Residency and a PGY2 Infectious Disease Residency. She has worked as an ID pharmacist in various capacities over the last decade, including as Clinical Faculty at UT Austin. She has also served as the PGY1 Residency Program Director since 2016.
