The University of Texas at Austin College of Pharmacy is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education. This online activity is approved for 0.10 CEUs (1.00 contact hour) of continuing education credit. To receive 1.00 contact hour of CE credit, the participant must watch the included video in its entirety, pass the online post-test ( >70% within 5 attempts), and complete the online evaluation. Upon successfully completing the course evaluation, the continuing pharmacy education credits will automatically be uploaded to CPE Monitor (allow 3-7 days).

Dr. Mark Messer is a board-certified psychiatrist who has been practicing psychiatry for 24 years and has been dedicated to the community with extensive experience in public and private inpatient and outpatient settings, including, but not limited to, forensic, child and adolescent, clinical research, and at present three academic faculty appointments.  He is an experienced psychiatric director who continues to actively participate in the treatment of seriously mentally ill and dually diagnosed patients. Dr. Messer is currently the CEO and Medical Director at Terrell State Hospital, a 305-bed inpatient psychiatric facility.
