Continuing Education Credit
The University of Texas at Austin College of Pharmacy is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education. This online activity is approved for 0.30 CEUs (3.00 contact hours) of continuing education credit. To receive 3.00 contact hours of CE credit, the participant must watch the included video in its entirety, pass the online post-test ( >70% within 5 attempts), and complete the online evaluation. Upon successfully completing the course evaluation, the continuing pharmacy education credits will automatically be uploaded to CPE Monitor (allow 3-7 days).

About the Speaker 
Lucas G. Hill, Pharm.D., BCACP

Director, Pharmacy Addictions Research & Medicine Program 
Lucas G. Hill graduated from the University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Pharmacy and completed a combined family medicine residency and faculty development fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. He is now a clinical associate professor at The University of Texas at Austin College of Pharmacy where he serves as director of the Pharmacy Addictions Research and Medicine (PhARM) Program and holds the Bergen Brunswig Corporation Centennial Fellowship. Dr. Hill is the principal investigator for a Texas Targeted Opioid Response project which seeks to address the opioid crisis in Texas by educating health professionals and conducting pragmatic research. He is an editorial board member for the Journal of the American College of Clinical Pharmacy and a past chair of the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy Substance Use Disorder Special Interest Group. Dr. Hill has been recognized with several prestigious national awards, including the American College of Clinical Pharmacy New Educator Award and the American Pharmacists Association Generation Rx Award of Excellence.

About the Speaker 
Lindsey J. Loera, Pharm.D.
Assistant Professor of Practice
Assistant Director, Pharmacy Addictions Research & Medicine (PhARM) Program
The University of Texas at Austin College of Pharmacy
Dr. Lindsey J. Loera graduated from the University of Texas at Austin College of Pharmacy (UTCOP) and completed a two-year postgraduate research and teaching fellowship with the Pharmacy Addictions Research & Medicine (PhARM) Program. She is now an assistant professor of practice at the UTCOP and is the assistant director of the PhARM Program. In these roles, Dr. Loera conducts research that supports the Texas Targeted Opioid Response initiative and provides instruction in pharmacotherapy and interprofessional collaboration courses. In addition to these appointments, she serves as a faculty co-advisor to the UTCOP collegiate chapter of the American Association of Psychiatric Pharmacists (UT-AAPP). Dr. Loera has been recognized with prestigious research awards from ACCP and AACP. She is a recipient of the 2020 UTCOP Pharmacy Mortar & Pestle Award, a 2019 United States Public Health Service Excellence in Public Health Pharmacy Award, and the college's 2018 Benjamin Reed Leader in Pharmacy Award.

Internal Medicine Clinical Specialist, Dell Seton Medical Center 
Kristin Janzen is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Texas at Austin College of Pharmacy. After graduating from UT College of Pharmacy, she completed a combined PGY1 & 2 Pharmacotherapy residency at Butler University and Indiana University Health in Indianapolis, IN. She currently practices at Dell Seton Medical Center at the University of Texas in Internal Medicine, where she precepts fourth-year Pharm.D. students and pharmacy residents on academic internal medicine rotations. She teaches throughout the didactic curriculum at the UT College of Pharmacy, focusing on pharmacotherapeutics, clinical pharmacokinetics, and application-based pharmacy practice labs. She has been recognized for both didactic and experiential teaching and has been awarded the UT Austin College of Pharmacy Educator of the Year, the Austin-Temple-Waco Region Preceptor of the Year, and Wm. Arlyn Koesel Preceptor of the Year Awards. She has also been recognized by the UT Center of Health Interprofessional Practice and Education (IPE) as a Health IPE Fellow. Her research and teaching interests focus on student preparedness for residency, interprofessional education, and core medicine disease states, such as pulmonology, cardiology, and diabetes.
